Present-day Institute

Today OJSC “YUZHNIIGIPROGAZ” is a creative team of over 1000 highly-qualified employees having adequate expertise, employing computer-aided design and capable of solving various complicated research and practical problems.

The Institute is fully equipped with state-of-the art computer hardware and software enabling to produce project documentation of high technical level.

The Institute applies in its design work three-dimensional object simulation based on the AutoCAD 2000-2009 Autodesk, Bentley MicroStation, Compass platforms.

The rights of the Institute to perform design and engineering survey works are supported  by Certificates granted by the Russian self-regulatory organizations (SRO) NP “Design Engineer” (Certificate IP-002-251 of 30.09.2010), NP “Survey Engineer” (Certificate II-027-148 of 30.09.2010),  NP “AIIS” (Certificate 01-I-0120-1 of 29.12.10) on work permits to carry out design and surveying works which affect capital construction projects, and the State Licences of Ukraine (series АВ No. 189500 of  April 26, 2007, and series АВ No. 356767 of June 23, 2007).

Internal activity of the Institute is governed by developed and implemented  management systems conforming to the international requirements.

• Quality Management System (QMS) of product quality conforms to:
• the international requirements of ISO 9001:2008 (Certificate BVQI No. 225859 оf 30.11.2009). QMS was certified in November 1999 and recertified in 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2009;
• Corporative Standard STO Gazprom 9001-2006 (Certificate No.ГО.00.RU.1402.К00058 dd. 14.01.2011)
• Environmental Management System conforms to the internаtional standard requirements of ISO 14001:2004 (Certificate SIC.02.008.380 оf 13.12.2010) and GOST R ISO 14001-2007 (Certificate No. СДСГК RU.ICB.02.008.380 of 19.07.2011).
• Occupational Health & Safety Management SystemSystem complies with OHSAS 18001:2007 international standard requirements (Certificate No. TK2600-SC оf 17.07.2009 and Certificate No. СДСГК RU.ICB.02.008.318 от 19.07.2011).

High quality product ensured by the Institute received broad national and international recognition.

By Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 1983,  “YUZHNIIGIPROGAZ” was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor for achieved great success in development of the major gas fields and main gas pipelines.

More than once the Institute was awarded the Transferable Red Banner as the winner of the socialist competition among design institutions of the USSR Mingazprom.

In 2004 the Assembly of Ukrainian Business Community highly appreciated the Institute’s engineering product and awarded it with “Vyscha proba” quality mark rewarded generally for company’s high quality and competitive products.

In February 2006 OJSC “YUZHNIIGIPROGAZ”, as oil- and gas-industry engineering company, became the winner of "100 Best Ukrainian Enterprises" Rating Competition conducted by   the Assembly of Ukrainian Business Community.

In February 2007 by decision of the Competition Commission of Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry,  OJSC “YUZHNIIGIPROGAZ” became the winner of  “The Golden Mercury-2006” competition in nomination "For great achievements in industrial development”.

By decision of Oxford Summit of European Leaders, held in Great Britain on March 18-22,  2007, “YUZHNIIGIPROGAZ” was assigned the "Best Enterprise of Europe" award.

In 2007 the Russian’s Business Promotion Board at the State Duma of the Russian Federation awarded “The Star of Commonwealth” Honorary Diploma to OJSC “YUZHNIIGIPRPGAZ” “For strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of economy”.

In March 2008 the Advisory Committee of the Assembly of Business Community of Ukraine assigned the “International  Millennium  Award“ to the Institute for launching and effective use of advanced technologies, development and implementation of ingenious  advanced solutions.

In November  2008 the European Business Assembly  (Oxford, Great Britain)  awarded the Institute with “European Quality” international award  for high quality products and services in accordance with European standards.

By Decision of OJSC Gazprom Board of September 29, 2009, the Institute was awarded Science and Technology Prize of OJSC Gazprom for the work “Selection and justification of optimum parameters for main gas pipelines from the Yamal Peninsula fields, as an example of switch over to increased level of operating pressure 11.8 MPa for transportation of  superpowerful gas flows”.

In 2009 by decision of Expert Council of the Assembly of Business Circles the Institute was awarded with the Ukraine’s Economy Leader award for efficiency and effectiveness of economic activity.

In 2010 on the basis of National Statistics Data, by decision of the International Economic Ranking “League of the Best” the Institute was awarded the Best Company  2010 prize for gaining advantage over Ukrainian competitors.
